Requirements for HPE Synergy Image Streamer with HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy

  • Cabling for HPE Synergy Image Streamer OS deployment requires two HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy.

  • An HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy supports up to five frames.

  • For redundancy, two HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy must be installed in separate frames.

  • Each HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy must be cabled to an HPE Synergy 50Gb Interconnect Link Module installed in the same bay in each supported frame.
    • The HPE Synergy 50Gb Interconnect Link Module supports two and three frame configurations at 50Gb.

    • The HPE Synergy 50Gb Interconnect Link Module supports two to five frame configurations at 25Gb.

Cable requirements

  • Supported transceivers and CAT6A cables are required for cabling frame link module MGMT ports to each HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy X1 and X2 port.

  • Interconnect link cables are required for cabling the HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy modules to each HPE Synergy 50Gb Interconnect Link Module.
