The HPE Synergy 10Gb Pass-Thru Module has twelve QSFP+ Uplink port connectors on the front (shown). On the rear of the pass-thru module, there are twelve 10Gb Downlink ports (not shown).

Downlink ports

  • Twelve 10Gb Ethernet internal downlinks to compute module CNAs.

  • Support for HPE Synergy 10Gb/20Gb CNA mezzanines.

  • Auto-sense 10Gb operation on a port-by-port basis.

  • Supports standard Ethernet as well as Converged Enhanced Ethernet.

Uplink ports

  • Twelve QSFP+ Uplink connectors for external uplink to Local Area Network Switches

  • With QSFP+ to SFP+ Adapters, supports the following:

    • 10Gb SFP+ SR, LR, and 10GBase-T transceivers

    • 10Gb SFP+ DAC cables

  • All QSFP+ uplinks configured as 1x10Gb Ethernet port
