Connecting an HPE Virtual Connect SE 40 Gb F8 Module (master) to an external switch with SFP+ ports (8 Gb to 8 Gb)
NOTE:
HPE Synergy 40 Gb F8 Switch supports direct connection to FC SAN using native Fibre Channel to 3Par and Nimble storage systems.
HPE VC SE 40 Gb F8 Module supports only 8 Gb FC connection.
One HPE Synergy 8 Gb Fibre Channel Upgrade LTU (PN N3R43A) per interconnect module is required to use native Fibre Channel ports on HPE VC SE 40Gb F8 Module with 40 GbE/4x 10 GbE/4x 8 Gb FC QSFP+, or 8 Gb FC SFP+ transceivers.
