Cabling frames with HPE Synergy Frame Link Modules (2-Port) to a frame with HPE Synergy 4-Port Frame Link Modules

NOTE:

This cabling example does not cover power or production network cabling.

NOTE:

HPE Synergy 12000 Frames must have the same type of frame link modules installed in each frame link module bay.

Only required in the primary the management ring. Frames in a remote management ring should not have HPE Synergy Composers installed.

Procedure
  1. Using CAT6A cables, connect two 2-port FLM MGMT ports from separate frames to the management network.

  2. Connect the LINK ports together.
    1. Install a 10GBase-T SFP+ transceiver into each 4-port FLM LINK port.
    2. Using CAT6A cables, connect the LINK ports together.

    Cabling is complete. The following diagram shows the complete cabling diagram.
