Adding RHCOS worker node

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that the OCP cluster should be up and running

  • Ensure that the worker expansion kit must be racked and stacked according to the expansion kit BOM.

Procedure
  1. Add new server entries in both the Load Balancers and DNS server.
  2. Add new server data to NPS toolkit VM.
  3. Configure the data and management switches for adding new servers.
  4. Delete image service.
  5. Prepare the hardware.
  6. Deploy image service.
  7. Approve CSRs for newly added worker nodes.
  8. Patch the newly added worker node status.
  9. Configure SR-IOV on the newly added worker nodes.
