Viewing and Restricting Applications
The page in the web application provides a brief description of the application category and lets you restrict or allow application access on your network. This page also provides details of the total data usage (in bytes), total usage percentage, and the networks for which the application category is blocked.
The screen in the Aruba OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal mobile app displays the complete list of applications that are allowed and blocked on the main network. The screen also allows you to modify the application restrictions at any time.
Viewing Applications
To view the for a specific application category, follow these steps:
1. Click on the Aruba OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home page. The page opens.
2. Select an application category from the list. The page for the selected application category opens.
Restricting Application Access
To restrict certain types of applications and websites on your network, follow these steps:
In the Mobile App
1. Tap on the Aruba OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home screen. The screen opens.
2. Select the main network from the list. The screen opens.
3. Tap . The screen opens
4. Tap the toggle switch(es) to enable restrictions for the selected application(s) (
).
In the Web Application
1. Click on the Aruba OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home page. The page opens.
2. Select an application category from the list. The page for the selected application category opens.
3. Under , click the toggle switch(es) to enable restrictions for the selected network(s) ().
