Shutting down an aggregate interface

Prerequisites

You must be in the global configuration context: switch(config)#

Procedure

Enter Layer 3 aggregate interface view by entering:
```
switch(config)# interface lag <ID>
```
Shut down the aggregate interface:
```
switch(config-lag-if)# shutdown
```
