The HP Lights-Out Console (HPLOCONS) provides the full iLO Integrated Remote Console (IRC) experience directly from your Windows desktop without going through the iLO web-based user interface. With the HP Lights-Out Console (sometimes called the Stand-Alone Remote Console) you can access your server’s remote console with one click of the mouse. HPLOCONS has the same functionality as the IRC application that is launched directly from an iLO 3, iLO 4, or iLO 5's web server.

Prerequisites:

This utility requires the following minimum firmware/configuration revisions:

  • HPE ProLiant or Integrity server with iLO 3, iLO 4 or iLO 5.
  • iLO 3 firmware v1.15 or later.

This release fixes the following issues:

  • The IRC does not work correctly in .NET 3.5 without SP1.
  • The IRC might stop working when a virtual media URL is too long.
  • The IRC freezes when you access a video file that is in use.
