HPE Synergy Software Releases - What's New?

★HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2025.10.01

HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2025.10.01 aligns with HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) September release for general updates.

HPE SSP 2025.10.01 contains the following known issues and limitations.

  • In HPE OneView, the following error message might display while adding an HPE SSP with SHA-384 signed components: "Unable to Validate the Signature".

  • HPE Broadcom NetXtreme-E Drivers for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15, version 1.10.3-232.0.155.5 or later, must be installed before installing the OS. In addition, the libibverb and rdma-core packages must be installed on the target system prior to the installation of the RoCE library. These packages can be obtained from the operating system installation media.

  • A dependency error occurs during the installation of the HPE QLogic Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) firmware version 2025.05.01 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 10. For more information, see Customer Advisory a00150008.

  • HPE MegaRAID Storage Administrator (HPE MRSA) does not launch in RHEL 10. For more information, see Customer Advisory a00149303.

  • Multiple HPE Synergy platforms configured with an HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter cannot connect simultaneously to a storage system with NVMe drives over RoCEv2. For more information, see Customer Advisory a00148169.

★HPE Synergy Composer2 (HPE OneView) 10.2

HPE Synergy Composer2 (HPE OneView) 10.2 contains the following enhancements:

  • HPE OneView supports the creation and deployment of custom firmware bundles for HPE Synergy with updated .fwpkg file formats, which includes the .fwpkg and a corresponding .json file. After uploading a .fwpkg file, users can upload the associated .json file in HPE OneView to deploy supported hotfixes.

  • Support for HPE Alletra Storage MP system versions 10.4.8 and 10.5.0.

  • Support for SHA2 algorithms (rsa-sha2-256, rsa-sha2-512) and 4096 bit key length.

★HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2025.07.03 - July 2025

HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2025.07.03 replaces 2025.07.02, which adds support for Intel Xeon Granite Rapids (GNR) High Core Count (HCC) and Low Core Count (LCC) processors on the HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module.

Additionally, the following OS support has been added.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and 9.6

  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP7

  • Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS

HPE SSP 2025.07.03 contains the following known issues and limitations.
