Notes:

This image includes ESXi 8.0 Update 3e.

The following are not supported with ESXi 8.x:

  • HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter (CNA)

  • HPE Synergy 3530C 16G FC HBA

HPE OneView HSM (OV4VC 11.7) is required for vLCM support with this OS on HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 compute modules using SSP 2025.07.03. Earlier versions of OV4VC will not work with this OS on HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 compute modules.

For all other supported compute modules, the HPE SSP supports VMware LifeCycle Manager (vLCM) with this VMware Base OS Image starting with OV4VC version 11.1 or newer. However, the recommended version is 11.7. For vLCM, using the VMware Base OS Image with the HPE Custom AddOn for Synergy is supported.
