Notes:

This image includes ESXi 8.0 Update 3e.

The following are not supported with ESXi 8.x:

  • HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter (CNA)

  • HPE Synergy 3530C 16G FC HBA

HPE SSP 2025.05.01 is not supported by the currently released OneView HSM for ESXi 8.0 U3 on HPE Synergy 480 Gen12. This SSP will be supported in a future OneView HSM release.

For all other HPE Synergy Gen10, Gen10 Plus, and Gen11 compute modules, HPE SSP 2025.05.01 supports supports VMware LifeCycle Manager (vLCM) with this VMware Base OS Image starting with OV4VC version 11.1.0. For vLCM, using the VMware Base OS Image with the HPE Custom AddOn for Synergy is supported. For more information, see https://vibsdepot.hpe.com/synergy/Valid-vLCM-Combos-Synergy.pdf.
