Notes:

This image includes ESXi 8.0 Update 3j.

The following are not supported with ESXi 8.0:

  • HPE Synergy 3820C 10/20Gb Converged Network Adapter (CNA)

  • HPE Synergy 3530C 16G FC HBA

vLCM support with ESXi 8.0 U3 on HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 using SSP 2026.01.01 requires OneView HSM (OV4VC 11.7). Using an earlier version of OV4VC will not work with ESXi 8.0 U3 and HPE Synergy 480 Gen12.

For all other HPE Synergy Gen10, Gen10Plus, and Gen11 compute nodes, the HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) supports VMware LifeCycle Manager (vLCM) with this VMware Base OS Image is supported with OV4VC version 11.1 or newer, but version 11.7 is recommended.
