Changing application access settings in the web application

The Applications tab in the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal web application displays the complete list of applications that are allowed and blocked on the main network. The Applications tab also allows you to modify these application restrictions at any time. To view the Applications tab, click Applications under Networks > Main Network Details.

Restricting application access in the web application

To restrict certain types of applications or websites on the main network using the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal web application, follow these steps:

1.

Click Networks on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home page. The Networks page opens.

2.

Select the main network from the Networks list to expand the Main Network Details tab.

3.

Click the Applications tab.

4.

Click the Blocked/Allowed toggle switch(es) to enable restrictions for the selected application(s) ().

Allowing application access in the web application

To allow access to certain types of applications and websites on the main network using the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal web application, follow these steps:

1.

Click Networks on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home page. The Networks page opens.

2.

Select the main network from the Networks list to expand the Main Network Details tab.

3.

Click the Applications tab.

4.

Click the Blocked/Allowed toggle switch(es) to enable access to the selected application(s) ().
