Prepare Image Streamer for use

Once you add an Image Streamer OS deployment server in HPE OneView, the Image Streamer user interface is accessible from a link on the HPE OneView Appliance > OS Deployment Servers screen.

From the Image Streamer interface, a Software administrator can upload artifacts from a bundle for deployment or create Golden Images and other OS build artifacts.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Software administrator

  • HPE OneView is fully configured to manage Image Streamer appliances.

Procedure
  1. Download sample artifact bundles from the GitHub website for HPE Synergy Image Streamer.
  2. Navigate to the Image Streamer GUI to add sample artifact bundles to Image Streamer.

    Image Streamer artifacts are ready for deployment by the Server Administrator.
