Edit a Plan Script that is referenced by an OS Build Plan

NOTE:

If there are any changes to a custom attribute, a warning message displays and the referenced OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan are also updated. If the changes to the custom attribute do not get propagated to the OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan, those artifacts display a critical status.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Software administrator.

  • The OS Build Plan that is referencing the Plan Script must not be read-only.

Procedure
  1. Select Plan Scripts from the main menu.
  2. Select a Plan Script in the master pane.
  3. Select Edit from the Actions menu.
  4. Edit the name, description, or the contents of the script as required.

    You cannot modify the type of a Plan Script that is used in an OS Build Plan.

  5. Click OK to save your updates to the Plan Script.
