Delete an OS volume

OS volume deletion is a sensitive operation and must be performed carefully. Generally, OS volumes are deleted as a result of the changes in the server profile. This operation helps to handle orphan volumes that can get generated in certain cases of backup and restore operation.

Prerequisites

Privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Server administrator.

Procedure
  1. Select OS Volumes from the main menu.
  2. Select an OS volume in the master pane of the OS Volumes screen.
  3. Select Delete from the Actions menu.
  4. Click Yes, delete in the Delete dialog.

    If the selected OS volume is not in use by a server profile, it is deleted.
