Using the Protect Once option

Procedure

Right-click the VMware resource (VM, datastore, or storage folder) and then click HPE RMC-V Actions > Protect Once.
Specify the following details:
Copy Policy
Select a protection type from the following:
Use Existing Copy Policy

Snapshot

Express Protect

Catalyst Copy

Cloud Copy
Protection Group

You can add the resource to an existing Protection Group or to a new Group. In case you are creating a Protection Group, specify a name and description for the Group.

Application Consistent

To create application-consistent snapshots, turn on the toggle.

Effective From

Select the date and time from when the schedule has to start. To set the current time as the start time, click Now.

Email Notification

Click Select and then select an email notification.
Click Protect.
