Recovering VMware resources from RMC-V copies

A protected VMware resource — VM, datastore, or VMDK can be recovered either by mounting or cloning the VMs, or by restoring the copy to earlier point in time. The following recovery options are available in RMC:

• Restore from a snapshot, a backup copy (Express Protect, Catalyst Copy), or from a Cloud Copy.
• Mount a snapshot or a backup copy (Express Protect, Catalyst Copy).
• Clone (recreate the VM) one or multiple VMs from a snapshot, a backup copy (Express Protect, Catalyst Copy).
• Attaching VMDK to an existing VM
• Copying VMDK to an existing datastore
