Upgrading RMC using the GUI

Prerequisites

Create a VMware Snapshot of the RMC appliance VM. If the upgrade fails, you can use this Snapshot to roll back to the previous state of the RMC appliance.

Procedure
  1. Download the HPE_RMC RPM file from My HPE Software Center.
  2. Navigate to HPE Recovery Manager Central > Settings.
  3. In the General panel, click Upgrade.
  4. Drag and drop the RPM image file or click Browse and then select the file.
  5. Click Upgrade.
