Refreshing an MS SQL instance or database

Procedure
  1. (For refreshing an instance) In the Microsoft SQL Instances page, click the instance for which you want to see the latest details.
  2. (For refreshing a database) In the Microsoft SQL Databases page, click the database for which you want to see the latest details.
  3. From the Actions menu, click Refresh.
  4. Select Analyze to synchronize the RMC-S catalog on the instance or database with RMC and storage devices.

    Also if you have edited the Volume Set details, select the Analyze option.

  5. Click OK.
