Failing back after a failover of a Remote Copy group

To reverse a failover, perform a failback. For example, if you failed over to perform testing, failback to reverse the failover.

Prerequisites

  • A manual failover has occurred. The DR state is Failover.

  • The auto synchronize policy is not enabled.

Procedure
  1. On the HPE SSMC main menu, select Remote Copy Groups under DATA PROTECTION.
  2. In the list pane, select the Remote Copy group, and then select Actions > Revert Failover.
  3. Click Revert Failover.
  4. To confirm the failback action, select the check box about understanding the implications, and then click Yes, revert failover.
