Remote Copy SLD restore operation

A restore operation restores the SLD Remote Copy group to a prefailover state after the recover operation completes.

If an SLD Remote Copy group is manually recovered, the group must be restored manually.

A restore operation:

  • Changes the Remote Copy SLD group Target roles back to Secondary. The Source role changes to Primary.

  • Provides the host with read/write access to the volumes on the source system. The hosts connected to the target systems are read-only.

  • The DR state returns to Normal.
