Editing the name of a Remote Copy target

Changing the Remote Copy target name does not change the name of the storage system.

Procedure
  1. Stop all Remote Copy groups using the target.
  2. On the HPE SSMC main menu, select Remote Copy Configurations under DATA PROTECTION.
  3. In the list pane, select a Remote Copy configuration, and then select Actions > Edit Target.
  4. Select the storage system and enter a new target name.
  5. (Optional) Select the Targets view from the drop-down list to view the updated target name.

    The updated target name displays in the Name field.

  6. Click OK.
  7. Start all Remote Copy groups using the target.
