Stopping a Remote Copy group

Stopping a Remote Copy group stops the replication process between the source and target volumes in the group. You might manually stop a Remote Copy group before changing the volumes in the group.

Procedure
  1. On the HPE SSMC main menu, select Remote Copy Groups under DATA PROTECTION.
  2. In the list pane, select the Remote Copy group, and then select Actions > Stop.
  3. To stop a group with multiple targets, select the target system from the drop-down list.

    The default is All.

  4. Confirm that you want to stop the group:
    1. Click Stop.
    2. To confirm, select the check box about understanding the implications, and then click Yes, stop.
