Application events

Application events are generated by applications, such as the HPE StoreEasy management console, which is installed on the HPE StoreEasy Storage system. Application events are specific to the application, and could include the following scenarios:

• A service was shut down due to idle timeout.

• A quota template, a file share, or volume was created.

• An application update was initiated.

• An invalid token was presented to an application.

Depending on the type of event, additional information about the event may appear in event details popup. This information can be helpful when troubleshooting critical and warning events.

In the following example, the application event details indicate that an incorrect username or password was used in an attempt to log on to the HPE StoreEasy management console.
