Performance data of the HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage

HPE product development and support engineering teams use the HPE StoreEasy Storage system performance information to understand the system usage and improve the user experience.

NOTE: No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected as part of the performance information.

The following information is collected:

Physical disk information Input/Output operations on the physical disks (Disk IOPS)
Network information Network throughput (read/write)
Client information Number of connected clients (either through SMB or NFS)
CPU information
  • CPU utilization per core

  • Cumulative CPU utilization

  • CPU usage per process

Storage information
  • Memory utilization

  • Memory usage per process

Performance data is collected every day at 01:00 AM, and stored as a zip file, containing multiple JSON files. This zip file is transferred at 04:00 AM (appliance time). Transfer of performance data files follows the transfer of the UX file on that particular night.

If the file transfer fails for any reason, attempt to transfer the file will be made again on the following night. Once the file is transferred, that file is deleted from the appliance.
