External drive enclosure cabling
External drive enclosures are attached to the base HPE StoreEasy Storage system using supported Mini SAS HD cables. Both single domain cabling (no redundancy) and dual domain (with redundancy) cabling is supported.
Single domain cabling: In single domain cabling, the external drive enclosures are connected to Smart Array controller1 using a single datapath.
Dual domain cabling: In dual domain cabling, the external drive enclosures are connected using two datapaths to a single Smart Array RAID controller.
