Deleting snapshots using HPE StoreEasy management console

You can store snapshots up to the space limit, which is the size of the volume, or the size specified during snapshot creation. (minimum 300 MiB). If the snapshots exceed the maximum space limit, the system removes old snapshots to make room for new snapshots.

Procedure
  1. Click Volumes in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select the volume that contains the snapshot you want to delete.
  3. Scroll down to Snapshots, and then click the trash icon () next to the snapshot you want to delete.
  4. Select Are you sure? to enable the delete button.
  5. Click Yes, Delete.

    The volume remains intact but you can no longer restore from this snapshot.
