Overcloud update fails

Symptom

When scaling up the VIM Overcloud, the Overcloud update operation fails.

Action

IMPORTANT:

Do not run the overcloud-delete command when the Overcloud update fails. This action removes the entire Overcloud from your system.

  1. Identify the issues from the log and rectify them.
  2. Run the following command on the NPS toolkit VM: 
    nps deploy -s  vim_overcloud –a overcloud-install
