Generating an input JSON for Addon servers and switches
Supported web browser – Google Chrome (Version 56 and above) and Firefox (Version 48 and above).
The starter kit must already be deployed in NPS.

Log in to
HPE Smart CID. You can login using one of the following options:
HPE Employee Login - If you are an HPE employee, use your Virtual DigitalBadge to login.
Customer / Partners Login - If you are a customer or a partner, use your HPE Passport login credentials. If you do not have the HPE Passport credentials, click Create an account, and follow the steps to create a user account. For any assistance, reach out to HPE Sales and Support team.
- Select Start a new CID.

From
Select Converged System drop-down menu, select
HPE Telco Infrastructure Configuration Generator, and click
Start.
The Welcome to HPE Telco Infrastructure Configuration Generator page is displayed.

Click
Start.
The Settings > Modules page is displayed.

In the Modules page, perform the following substeps:
- Select Addon Kit as the configuration type.
- Select both the options under Addon Type, Addon - Server and Addon - Switch.
- Select the modules as selected during the starter kit TICG generation.
- If the starter kit was deployed with a VIM, select the VIM module and choose the same VIM option from the Virtual Infrastructure Manager drop-down.
- Click
Next.
The Settings > Global Settings page is displayed.

In the
Global Settings page, perform the following substeps:
- Enter the Deployment Name provided during the starter kit TICG generation.
- Select the OOBM IP Allocation field as Manual or DHCP.
- Enter the iLO-OOBM CIDR IP range if the OOBM IP allocation was chosen as Manual.
- Optional. Select Yes for CFM Plugin if required. Default value is No.
- Provide a Username and Password. This will auto populate the username and password fields for all for Servers, Management Switches, and Platforms where applicable.

Next.
The Settings > Switch page is displayed.

In the
Switch page, perform the following substeps:
- Select the Data Switch NOS type.
- Enter the number of data switches required and a name for the switch.
- Enter the Data Switch Password.

Next.
The Settings > Servers page is displayed.

In the
Servers page, perform the following substeps:
Enter a value for the Number of Worker Nodes.
Select the server model to be used as the Worker Node.
If the OOBM IP allocation was chosen as Manual, enter a value for the Worker Node start and end IP address.
Click Next.
The Advanced Settings > Hardware Components page is displayed.
- In the Hardware Components page, click the pencil icon to make the edits to the required fields.
- Click Save to finalize the entries. You can click Previous to go back to previous page or click Preview to see the structure of the JSON.
