Configuring a static router port

You can configure a port as a static router port for an IPv6 multicast group so that all IPv6 multicast data for the group received on the port will be forwarded.

1. Enter system view.

   system-view

2. Enter Layer 2 interface view.

   • Enter Layer 2 Ethernet interface view.

     interface interface-type interface-number

   • Enter Layer 2 aggregate interface view.

     interface bridge-aggregation interface-number

3. Configure the port as a static router port.

   mld-snooping static-router-port vlan vlan-id

   By default, a port is not a static router port.
