Configuring preprovisioning
Preprovisioning allows you to preconfigure an offline module (an IRF member device that has not joined or has left the IRF fabric) and interfaces on the module.
With preprovisioning, you can configure a module before installing or attaching the module to the device. When the module comes online, the preprovisioned settings are applied. If the module goes offline, the existing preprovisioned settings are retained. You can continue to change the existing settings or add new settings. The final settings are applied when the module comes online again.
