About IPv4 VRRP versions
IPv4 VRRP can use VRRPv2 and VRRPv3.
Restrictions and guidelines
For an IPv4 VRRP group to operate correctly, make sure the same VRRP version is used on all routers in the IPv4 VRRP group.
Procedure
Enter system view.
system-view
Enter interface view.
interface interface-type interface-number
Specify the version of VRRP.
vrrp version version-number
By default, VRRPv3 is used.
