Configuration prerequisites

Before you configure OSPFv3 FRR, perform the following tasks:

• Configure IPv6 addresses for interfaces to ensure IP connectivity between neighboring nodes.

• Enable OSPFv3.

• Make sure the backup next hop is reachable.
