Configuring hot backup

NOTE:

This feature is available only in IRF mode.

To implement hot backup for two LB devices, you must enable synchronization for session extension information and sticky entries to avoid service interruption.

To configure hot backup:

Step	Command	Remarks
1. Enter system view.	system-view	N/A
2. Enter transparent DNS proxy view.	loadbalance dns-proxy dns-proxy-name	N/A
3. Enable session extension information synchronization.	connection-sync enable	By default, session extension information synchronization is disabled.
4. Enable sticky entry synchronization.	sticky-sync enable	By default, sticky entry synchronization is disabled.
