bfd detect-multiplier

Syntax

bfd detect-multiplier <MULTIPLIER>

no bfd detect-multiplier

Description

Sets BFD detection multiplier on an interface.

The no form of this command sets the BFD detection multiplier to the default value of 5.

Parameters

<MULTIPLIER>

Specifies the BFD detection multiplier. Range: 1 to 5. Default: 5.

Authority

Administrators or local user group members with execution rights for this command.

Examples

Setting the BFD detection multiplier to 3: 

switch(config-if)# bfd detect-multiplier 3

Setting the BFD detection multiplier to the default value: 

switch(config-if)# no bfd detect-multiplier
