neighbor passive
Syntax
neighbor {<IP-ADDR>|<PEER-GROUP-NAME>} passive
no neighbor {<IP-ADDR>|<PEER-GROUP-NAME>} passive
Description
Configures a specific neighbor, or all neighbors in a peer-group, as passive, which means that they will not initiate the TCP session.
The neighbor connection must be reset using
clear ip bgp
for this setting to take effect.
The
no
form of this command enables the neighbor to initiate the TCP session.
