clear ip ospf statistics

Syntax

clear ip ospf [<INSTANCE-TAG>] statistics [interface [<INTERFACE-NAME>]] [all-vrfs | vrf <VRF-NAME>]

Description

Clear the OSPF event statistics.

Command context

Operator (>) or Manager (#)

Parameters

<INSTANCE-TAG>

OSPF Process ID. Clear the statistics for the particular OSPF process. Range: 1-63.

<INTERFACE-NAME>

Clear the OSPF statistics for the specified interface.

all-vrfs

Optionally select to clear the OSPF statistics for all VRFs.

vrf <VRF-NAME>

Optionally select to clear the OSPF statistics for a particular VRF. If the VRF is not specified, information for the default VRF is cleared.

Authority

Operators or Administrators. Users without administrator authority can execute this command from the operator context (>) only.

Clearing the OSPF event statistics: 

switch# clear ip ospf statistics
switch# clear ip ospf statistics interface 1/1/1
