show udld
Syntax
show udld [interface <INTERFACE-NAME>] [vsx-peer]
Description
Displays UDLD information for all interfaces or for a specific interface.
Command context
Operator (>
) or Manager (#
)
Parameters
interface <INTERFACE-NAME>
Specifies the name of a logical interface on the switch. This can be:
An Ethernet interface associated with a physical port. Some switches (such as the Aruba 8400 Switch Series), use the format
member/slot/port
(for example,1/1/1
). Other switches useslot/port
(for example,1/1
).UDLD runs only on physical interfaces. LAGs, tunnels, and the like are not supported. However, UDLD can be configured individually on each port of a LAG or trunk group. Configuring UDLD on a trunk group's primary port enables UDLD on that port only.
[vsx-peer]
Shows the output from the VSX peer switch. If the switches do not have the VSX configuration or the ISL is down, the output from the VSX peer switch is not displayed.
Authority
Operators or Administrators. Users without administrator authority can execute this command from the operator context (>) only.
