Configuring for external route redistribution in an OSPFv3 domain
Configuring route redistribution for OSPFv3 establishes the routing switch as an ASBR (residing in a backbone, normal, or NSSA) for importing and translating different protocol routes from other IGP domains into an OSPFv3 domain. The switches support redistribution for static routes and directly connected routes. When you configure redistribution for OSPF, you can specify that static or connected routes external to the OSPFv3 domain are imported as OSPFv3 routes.
