Syntax

show modules

Description

Displays information about the installed modules (The show modules command output), including:

• The slot in which the module is installed

• The module description

• The serial number

Additionally, this command displays the part number (J number) and serial number of the chassis. (See The show modules details command for the switch showing SSM and mini-GBIC information.)
