UEFI driver, firmware, and other supplemental information for the Qlogic 16Gb
Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs) on HP Integrity servers using HP-UX
1. Multiboot Image for HP Integrity SN1000Q 16Gb FC HBAs
The firmware and UEFI driver contained in this multi-boot package is to update the Qlogic 16Gb FC HBA product models listed in
the next section on HP Integrity Servers. HP-UX FibrChanl-01 (fcd) B.11.31.1603 (or later) is required to
support the feature enhancements.

UEFI driver version onwards.
UEFI Human Interface Infrastructure (HII) should be used to configure
16Gb adapters. Refer to the HII user guide contained in the FC uEFI directory
of this package for details on UEFI driver configuration.

7. Flash Instructions for updating the UEFI driver and

8. UEFI Driver Configuration
From this UEFI version (v6.37) onwards, UEFI Human Interface
Infrastructure (HII) should be used to configure 16Gb adapters. Refer to the
HII user guide contained in the FC uEFI directory of this package for details
on UEFI driver configuration.
9. Important Advisory:
On Integrity platforms, QW971A/B9F23A and QW972A/B9F24A Fibre
Channel HBAs are supported from the below Engineering Date Code (EDC) versions
QW971A/B9F23A Board Rev. 0B EDC A-5333
QW972A/B9F24A Board Rev. 0B EDC A-5335
If the EDC is lower than these versions, you must flash this
B9F23A/B9F24A Flash Image Package to update the controller firmware and UEFI
driver to the minimum supported versions.
NOTE: Engineering Date Code (EDC) is printed on the part number
label located on the SFP on the front side of the controller.
