Critical - HPE requires users update to this version immediately.

Fixed the following:

In extremely rare cases, the following QLogic Fibre Channel (FC) Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), SN1100Q, SN1600Q and 5830c may cause the host Operating System (OS) to stop. Subsequent OS reboot may reveal some filesystem data is unavailable or inconsistent. Out of an abundance of caution, HPE updated the Firmware/BIOS/UEFI (Boot Image) packages for these adapters to eliminate possible exposure to this extremely rare but critical issue.

Fixes

Upgrade Requirement:
Critical - HPE requires users update to this version immediately.

Fixed the following:

In extremely rare cases, the following QLogic Fibre Channel (FC) Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), SN1100Q and SN1600Q may cause the host Operating System (OS) to stop.

Revision History

Version:2019.03.05 (1 Apr 2020)
Fixes

Upgrade Requirement:
Critical - HPE requires users update to this version immediately.

Fixed the following:

In extremely rare cases, the following QLogic Fibre Channel (FC) Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), SN1100Q, SN1600Q and 5830c may cause the host Operating System (OS) to stop. Subsequent OS reboot may reveal some filesystem data is unavailable or inconsistent. Out of an abundance of caution, HPE updated the Firmware/BIOS/UEFI (Boot Image) packages for these adapters to eliminate possible exposure to this extremely rare but critical issue.

For more details please go through the document titled "HPE ProLiant, Synergy and Superdome Flex Host Bus Adapters (HBA) - Certain Fibre Channel HBA Firmware May Cause the Operating System to Halt and Potentially Compromise Filesystem Data Integrity" at the following link:
