Online ROM Flash Component for Windows - HP ProLiant DL580/ML570 (P20)

Used in conjunction with the Remote Deployment Utility Console, this Smart Component allows the user to update firmware on remote servers from a central location. This remote deployment capability eliminates the user being physically present at the server in order to perform a firmware update.
Added support for Windows Server 2003.

Installation:
Local Downloads

  • Download the Smart Component to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The downloaded file is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the Smart Component Number.
  • From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.

Important:
HP recommends for remote deployment of this package that you obtain the most recent Remote Deployment Utility (RDU). You may download RDU by visiting the ProLiant Support Pack for Windows page, scrolling down to the section entitled support pack contents and selecting the following files:

  • RDU Setup DLL, setupcor.dll
  • ProLiant Remote Deployment Utility, setup.exe
