Version 9.31 fixes a critical issue in the storage agent where a command sent from the storage agent to a Solid State Disk (SSD) drive to obtain SmartSSD Wear gauge data, was causing a machine check error.  This problem was observed when SSDs were connected to the embedded SATA chipset on HP ProLiant SL4545 G7 servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 Editions, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012. This fix is recommended for other supported HP ProLiant servers also.

Version:9.31.0.0 (19 Mar 2013)
Fixes

Upgrade Requirement:
Critical - HPE requires users update to this version immediately.

Note: The issue is not observed when an SSD is connected to Smart Array or SAS HBAs (H2xxx series).
