This release provides updated system ROM images for the latest maintenance releases of HP ProLiant ML110 G4 Servers.

Added an option to select USB devices in the boot order in the BIOS setup menu.

Added the string "Floppy" to USB storage devices that are under 5MB in size in the boot order in the BIOS setup menu.

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.


Installation:

This Enhanced SoftPaq contains utilities that can be used to restore and/or update the system ROM on the HP ProLiant Server.

1. Download the Enhanced SoftPaq to a directory on a system running Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, or Microsoft Windows XP and change to that directory.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded Enhanced SoftPaq file simply by double clicking on the SPxxxxx file and follow the installation wizard to complete the Enhanced SoftPaq installation process. At the end of a successful installation of the Enhanced SoftPaq, a web page will automatically appear to provide you with the different methods for restoring and/or upgrading the firmware on the system.

This System ROM upgrade integrates a new version of Intel support code for Dual-Core Intel Xeon 3000 Series processors. This Intel support code was provided to HP as a critical software update. This System ROM update has no known performance impact.

Resolved an issue with IPMI Device failed to enabled and prompt "Input/Output Range 0CA2 - 0CA3 not available."

Resolved an issue where it was required to press F1 to continue the boot process when there is a Smart Array harddisk failure during POST even though the F1 option in BIOS Setup Utility was set to delayed or disabled.
