This component contains software to support directories on Hewlett Packard Enterprise ProLiant Management Processors. Utilities for adding snap-ins, migrating to directories and extending the schema are provided.

Prerequisites:

This software works with all firmware versions of Integrated Lights-Out 3 firmware, Integrated Lights-Out 4 firmware and Integrated Lights-Out 5 firmware .

The HPLOMIG tool requires

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or above.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or above when FIPS Mode or Enforce AES/3DES Encryption is enabled in iLO.

The Schema Extender tool requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or above.

Important Notes:

  • For Kerberos support to work, Integrated Lights-Out 3 firmware v1.20 or higher is required.
  • For MS-Windows 2008/2012 R2/2016, this program should be started with the "Run As Administrator" option.

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.


Installation:

Download this SoftPaq onto your hard-drive.

Execute it from within Windows.

You will be presented a dialog box that gives you the option of installing the software or extracting it. If you select install, you will be presented with another dialog box that will let you select which software to install.

 

Note: Uninstall any older version of HP Directories Support for ProLiant Management Processors (HPLOMIG) before installing this version of HPLOMIG.

  • This version of HPLOMIG supports iLO 4 firmware version 2.30 onwards when FIPS Mode or Enforce AES/3DES Encryption is enabled.

- HPLOMIG v4.40 and v4.30 were unable to detect iLO2 Management Processors.
- Exceptions were reported during firmware flash operation on multiple iLOs.
- Management processor addresses or address range for find operation can be seperated using either comma or semi-colon.
- Improper "Results" displayed at the end of Firmware flash.
- Operations cannot be performed on iLOs in "Connection failed" state.
- HPLOMIG uses TLSv1 protocol to connect to iLO3 and iLO4 Management Processors during Firmware flash operation.

Note: HPLOMIG v4.50 or later is to be used with iLO4 v2.10 onwards and iLO3 v1.82 onwards for flashing firmware. To address the “POODLE” security vulnerability, the iLO security policy has changed. SSLv3 is now disabled and TLSv1 is enabled in iLO4 v2.10 and iLO3 v1.82.
