The Active Health System (AHS) log download CLI retrieves the AHS log data from the local server. It creates a .ahs package file with all the AHS log files. After the .ahs file is created, the file can provide HP Support with information needed to diagnose issues.

Prerequisites:
HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver v1.15 or greater must be installed on the server.


To ensure the integrity of your download, HPE recommends verifying your results with the following SHA-256 Checksum values:

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.


Installation:

  1. Download the appropriate hp-AHSdownload rpm file for your operating system. 
  2. Run the rpm file on the host and the file will install the hp-AHSdownload utility.
    1. To do the clean install, delete any previously installed versions of hp-AHSdownload using command :
           rpm -e hp-AHSdownload
    2. Locate the rpm file where you have coped it on your host operating system. Then run:
      • For x86 : rpm -ivh <rpm file>
            EX: rpm -ivh hp-AHSdownload-2.0.0-1.i386.rpm

      • For x64 : rpm -ivh <rpm file>
           Ex: rpm -ivh hp-AHSdownload-2.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm

Description
