HPE Persistent Memory Management Utility is a desktop application to help you manage your persistent memory solutions. The tool uses the iLO RESTful API to discover and configure persistent memory on your system.

Upgrade Requirement:
Optional - Users should update to this version if their system is affected by one of the documented fixes or if there is a desire to utilize any of the enhanced functionality provided by this version.

Prerequisites:

Dependencies are managed by the RPM. It's recommended to use an installation tool that automatically detects and installs dependencies (examples: yum, dnf).


To ensure the integrity of your download, HPE recommends verifying your results with the following SHA-256 Checksum values:

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.


Installation:

Follow the steps below to install the package:

  1. Copy the downloaded package to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
  2. Install the RPM the standard way for the Linux distribution:
    1. RHEL: yum localinstall hpepmm-{version}.x86_64.rpm
    2. Fedora: dnf install hpepmm-{version}.x86_64.rpm
    3. Note that using rpm -iv hpepmm-{version}.x86_64.rpm will require manual installation of the dependencies.
  3. Run hpepmm to launch the program.
