Firmware V3.07 for R1500 XR Models

The R1500 XR firmware update is designed to upgrade the
firmware of the following R1500 XR models to v3.07.
The spares part no.'s for the R1500 are as follows:

217860-001 SPS-UPS, R1500, XR
217860-291 SPS-UPS, R1500, XR - JP
217860-002 SPS-UPS, R1500, XR - INT'L

Installation:
Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable FGP32Set.

From that drive and directory, execute the UPGRADE file and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Note: Use the detailed Word document instructions located in the extracted files to perform the R1500XR Firmware Flash Procedure.

  • Switches to battery when a slow degradation (brown out) occurs at a peak level.

  • Prevents lockup if a failure occurs during firmware flash.

  • Corrects UPS shutdown controls when "pending on" is scheduled.
